JOB SUMMARY:
We're looking for a dynamic individual to join the Digital & Technology team at CBRE, the global leader in real estate services. An ideal candidate is talented, energetic, innovative Technologist who can work on Salesforce development projects from conceptualization to implementation in an Agile environment. The hired individual should be proactive in analyzing impacts, overall risks, mitigate any design issues early in the project lifecycle, share implementation best practices, and recommend solution alternatives. He/She will also be responsible to conduct design/code reviews and make refactor suggestions as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct involvement and/or oversight of developing business requirements, application design/development, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Performs feasibility analysis and technology tradeoffs within the constraints of the project.
  • Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer-driven solutions
  • Collaborate across multiple scrum teams; Follow development, testing, and deployment practices that are leading edge on the Salesforce platform
  • Confident and willing to challenge a customer and guide them towards an appropriate solution that meets their needs while maintaining the scalability, maintainability of the instance.
  • Participates actively in discussions, builds a reputation as a go-to resource for complex problems. Provides constructive feedback to technology teams.
  • Understands platform limitations and design alternatives to work around limitations.
  • Work closely with QA to review test plans and test cases and ensure the quality of deliverables from the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field
  • 3 - 5+ years of progressive software development experience. Consideration is given to the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile Software development methodologies, design, and architectural patterns.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of technical expertise on Salesforce.com, using Force.com Apex, Lightning for Salesforce, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, Ant, and the use of these tools with Salesforce.com.
  • Strong with configuration, customization, programming with Apex, Triggers, Workflows with actions, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards
  • Development experience with Restful web services and Integrations strongly desired
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com's best practices, support mechanisms, procedures, and limitations is required.
  • Strong Object-Oriented Development Experience and GIT concepts for deployments is preferred
  • Knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Marketing Cloud a huge plus
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work with minimal direct guidance, self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge in the Commercial Real Estate industry is ideal, but not a requirement
