The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of property management professionals in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region and their respective client. The candidate will be involved in developing the business strategy to ensure exemplary client service through a considered approach to developing deep and broad relationships with our clients. This position will participate in business development activities and have significant operational responsibility to help meet growth targets for both revenue and EBITDA. 

 What you bring 

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferably with a business emphasis. 

• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of related experience in the commercial real estate industry, including a minimum of 5 years’ leadership and financial management experience which should include a significant emphasis on asset management.  
• Continuous commitment to an understanding of the commercial real estate industry, and specifically Colliers stature in the local market.  
• Understanding of economic indicators, KPI’s and their impact on commercial real estate valuation and client service. 
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service at all levels of the organization and with external partners as well as strong leadership and interpersonal skills.  
• Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment. Possess a strong  

• Exhibit a high level of professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Travel Required 

 Bonus skills and experience 

• Industry specific certification such as CPM preferred  
• Understanding of the market cycles and ability to set short and long-term strategies 
• Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset. 

 What success looks like  

• You develop and manage the property management teams in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario region. This will include oversight and guidance of the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets. Conduct revenue/expense analyses and provide corporate management reports as required. 
• You continually seek opportunities to expand the business base by working collaboratively with the senior management team and through regular contact with key clients / target clients. 

• You manage the transition of clients / assets in a highly professional, organized manner. 
• Manage the business to a plan with clearly stated and measurable goals and objectives. 
• You will analyze, report, and recommend potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirement, potential, and financials, evaluation options, resolving internal priorities.
