Wholesale Technologies supports various applications for the Wholesale line of businesses. The teams are spread across various locations including EGS. About the Role
As part of Wells Fargo Technology team, this is a management position responsible for managing a team of highly skilled technologists towards change the bank (BA, Dev, and Testing) efforts for a portfolio of applications in a Wholesale Technologies at WFEGS. This role will manage line managers (TM4). The incumbent will also be a technical expert playing the lead role for a change the bank responsibility for a functional / product area. This is a hands-on management position primarily responsible for the application development, maintenance and project delivery for a portfolio of applications within Commercial Real Estate. The role encompasses technical/ functional expertise, people management and stakeholder management. The incumbent will be supporting the Credit Bridge Transformation program
Understand product portfolio and actively contribute to roadmap / strategy Generate application engineering policies, standards and procedures. Plan, perform and resolve escalated platform coding and testing issues of a technically challenging nature. Accountable for overall delivery for a portfolio or set of product teams Responsible for defining opportunities across IT to maximize assets and improve processes while reducing cost. Works closely work with CTOs or CTO directs and actively contribute to development and implementation of key technology strategies from WFEGS perspective Actively participate in global leadership meetings, demonstrate executive presence , present & propose solutions proactively
Meet talent needs for the group including flexible and full time ones for technology delivery Responsible for creating opportunities for team members (including the managers) growth Accountable for expectations setting (goal settings) for the team members in line with the larger LoB and EGS goals (functional - technical/domain and behavioral) Responsible to mentor team members and provide avenues to meet the team members aspirations Works closely with the HR Partners on various talent items covering the entire talent landscape
Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent and must have 16+ Years of overall experience and proven record of leading and managing a minimum team of 15+ Direct and about 30-50 indirect Technology Team members
Microsoft Stack, UI Technologies(ReactJS, Angular, JQuery), Web Services, Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement with engineering focus
Take ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILE and Waterfall methodologies
Domain expertise on CBAM and Loan Accounting and Servicing
Familiar with technologies: Web Services(SOAP & REST), Micro Services, Cloud Platforms (Azure & PCF), Message Format(JSON, XML), Database( Oracle, SQL, NoSQL), Web Client, UX, OCR, NLP, ML
