Wells Fargo SBA (Small Business Administration) Lending has an opportunity for a talented, highly-motivated, credit savvy leader for the position of Lending Manager 2 (Team Lead) located in our Roseville, CA or Minneapolis, MN hubs.
In this Centralized Portfolio Lending Manager role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Credit Analysts and Underwriters within the SBA Portfolio Management Group engaging in a variety internally initiated servicing actions and portfolio management activities, including but not limited to:
Credit Management Group Transfers
Early Warning Jobs
Maturing Loans, Past Dues and Watch-list credits
BSA/AML work, including but not limited to Period Reviews, Interim Focused Anomaly Review (IFAR), LOB Concurrence jobs, and Quarterly Portfolio Review activities
Reviewing credit monitoring reports and assigning resulting work
Managing pipelines to ensure group's underwriting and internal monitoring benchmarks are met
Approving credit monitoring actions within established loan approval limits
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate Bank policies and regulations
Working with senior leaders and Credit Administrators to understand monitoring needs and make or recommend adjustments to provide improved risk management
Responsible for TM development and training
Developing team member talents through use of internal and external resources
Actively coaching and motivating current team and participate in recruiting, hiring and training activities when needed

A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
Strong commercial credit analysis skills
Ability to represent the company/business units to internal and external auditors, RECOR, OCC, or other regulatory agencies
Ability to achieve high production and quality standards
Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
Knowledge and understanding of Small Business Administration (SBA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Policies
Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents
Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
Ability to recruit, retain, and grow high potential talent/teams
Strong credit portfolio and underwriting skills
Strong risk management leadership skills
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
