Role: We seek an experienced QA Automation Engineer to lead the practice of test automation in our organization. This role will have significant ownership over defining test frameworks to support the continuous delivery of software on our team.
Our team values collaboration, inclusivity and iteration. In this role you can exhibit all of those values by working with application development teams to enable our iterative workflow.
This position reports to our Director of Engineering and will be primarily located in Seattle.
Propose and implement scalable frameworks for function, usability, and API testing
Write and maintain test plans for features across our three products
Lead the automation practice on our team by:
Evangelizing automation tools with app developers
Establishing QA staffing strategy
Measuring and reporting on quality in our applications
6 years experience with software test automation against modern web applications, including 2 years in a lead position. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
Understanding of Continuous Delivery and opinions on how to achieve a high quality bar in a CD environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university, preferably with emphasis in Computer Science.
