This position is dedicated to providing business development support for CBRE Econometric Advisors and Hotels Research. These groups are the industry's leading source for data, analytics and microeconomic viewpoints that provide insights to global management firms, lenders, private equity firms, government entities and major hotel owners.
The Business Development Associate will work closely with the Sr. Business Development Associates to manage and grow its book of business and create sales and service efficiencies through the use of technologies like Salesforce. This will include qualifying prospects, determining next best actions, preparing initial contract paperwork, final order processing, maintenance of current user lists, and configuration and delivery of usage reporting in data visualization tools. The ideal candidate is highly-motivated, a self-starter, adaptable and flexible.
The successful candidate will also be a critical thinker, creative, collaborative, and resourceful-someone who will thrive in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a commercial real estate, financial services or research organizations is a plus.
Develop a pre-qualification process for leads to recommend next best actions
Create and post initial contract paperwork
Coordinate final order processing
Maintain current and accurate user lists
Develop and deliver usage reporting in data visualization tools
Maintain revenue tracking and reporting
Partner with marketing to assist coordination of two annual hosted events
Report sales efforts bi-weekly to leadership
Update Salesforce with key contacts, activities, and notes
Collaborate on regional, national and global mandates
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university or a minimum of 2-4 years of relevant sales experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
