Role: We are seeking a Senior Back End Software Engineer that will be excited by the opportunity to own the development of features in an application that is changing the world's largest commercial real estate services company. As we build we are also leading the way for how technology is built at CBRE
Collaborate with your team of engineers, designers and product folks to define refine product requirements
Implement and improve features based on user and engineering feedback
Mentor more junior engineers
Create and implement improvements to our technology stack and processes.
Self starter who can turn ambiguity into shipped software
Experience with Django or Node.js
Experience designing and developing REST APIs
Experience with Agile/Scrum software development cycles
Experience modeling and implementing data structures in PostgreSQL
Effective collaboration, communication, and leadership skills
Familiarity with asynchronous & functional programming techniques
Bonus points for experience in these areas:
Background task queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, and Celery)
